Placing and confirming an order with Private Island Furniture is easy. Send us an email and we'll reply with our PDF price list and Terms and Conditions. We'll help you fill your container and confirm your order. We no longer use a shopping cart system for ordering as we no longer hold stock in the USA.

Terms and Conditions

Orders: Private Island Furniture sells by Container Direct from Java, Indonesia.

Discounts: 5% discount on orders of three or more containers. 5% discount on 40’ container from a single factory (see the factory code on the price list)

Terms: 50% deposit with the order, and the balance due two weeks prior to shipping from Indonesia

Pricing and Minimums: Each item has its own minimum. Items may be available at less than minimum quantity for a 33% surcharge. The minimum for any order is $10,000 or a 20’ container, whichever is less. Prices are subject to change at any time without notice. Pricing is not final until order is confirmed with the deposit.

Containers: There are three sizes of containers, 20’, 40’ Standard and 40’ High Cube. For furniture, based on a typical mix, they hold 80 – 100, 180 – 200 and 200 – 220 pieces respectively. Accessories can be added and usually fit in and around the furniture. Containers ship best when full, so we discourage orders that partially fill a container.

FOB: The Container Prices are FOB our warehouse in Indonesia and do not include export charges, ocean freight, import charges or inland freight. We add $700 for the local charges for the first container on a Bill of Lading, $500 per each additional container.

Lead Times: We manufacture "to order", we don't hold stock in Java. Containers with Island Villa case goods and other wood items ship from Indonesia in 8 - 10 weeks from receipt of deposit. Containers without Island Villa case goods or other wood items ship in 6 – 8 weeks from receipt of deposit.

Transit Time: “Door-to-Door” transit time, including estimates for Customs clearance and inland delivery are 5 - 6 weeks for the US, 3 - 4 weeks to Europe and 6 - 8 weeks to the Caribbean. Of course, all shipments are subject to delays by the shipping line, customs and inland transportation services. Private Island Furniture is not responsible for any delays of this kind.

Limited Warranty: Private Island Furniture takes great pride in the quality of our merchandise. Our products are manufactured to ensure that you are completely satisfied. However, sometimes issues develop that are unforeseen. Our products our made of natural materials with many "by hand" steps. Variations in color and some minor flaws are inherent in the process are to be expected.

Our Limited Warranty is that Private Island Furniture (a division of Bamboo Road, Inc.), within the warranty period, will repair or replace any piece of furniture that has a manufacturing defect. The decision to repair or replace is at our discretion. You will need to submit a detailed statement of defect and photographs when making a claim. Bamboo Road reserves the right to make an on site inspection before authorizing the repair or replacement of any item.

The warranty period begins at the time you receive the product on site and is limited to manufacturing defects. Visible defects must be claimed within 30 days of arrival. The warranty period for in-use manufacturer’s defects is one year. Improper storage, handling or use voids this Limited Warranty. If Bamboo Road determines that a defect is covered under this Limited Warranty, we will determine if repair is possible. If repair is not possible, we’ll provide a replacement. If a replacement is necessary, Bamboo Road, Inc. will provide such a replacement in the next possible container it ships to anywhere in the destination country and will arrange for delivery to the site.
